どうも、吾輩です。
食事ネタが好きです。
好きなのですが、自分の認識が間違っているのではないかと最近気付きました。
今までは「推しにうまいもの食わせたい」「推しが幸せそうに食事しているとこっちも幸せ」と言う理由で食事シーンが好きだと思っていました。
実際は「誰かが旨そうに飯食ってるシーン、そのものが好き」というのが真実だったようです。
例えば吾輩は食事ものラノベが好きです。なろうでしばしば見るアレです。書籍化したものだと、異世界食堂とか、異世界居酒屋「のぶ」とか、あのあたり。
どちらも料理人が固定で、毎回違う客が違う料理を食べる形式です（常連客もいますが、それは今置いておいてください）。
つまり食事をするキャラクターは「初見」であり、読み手たる吾輩からしては好きも嫌いも無いわけです。ですが面白い。食べているキャラクターが好きかどうかは、関係ないわけです。
こういう「異世界もの」における「道の料理に驚く反応が楽しい」という部分もあると思います。もともと「魔王がテレビを怖がる」のような異文化交流ものも好きですから。
しかし「現代日本の大学生がハンバーガー食べてる」といったありふれた組み合わせもおいしくいただけるので、吾輩はとにかく食事シーンが好きなようです。
自作品も食事シーンは（上手かどうかは別として）気合いが入ります。拙作「僕の私の守りたい世界」においては、戦闘シーンよりチーズケーキ食べているシーンの方が濃いかも。戦闘ものとしては完全にダメなやつ。
しかし連作となると料理の知識が少ないため挫折しがち。
どっちもダメじゃないか。
ごはんはおいしく適量を。
