肩書に困る自称アーティスト失敗した方が上手くいく法則

　吾輩はアナログ絵描きなので、書いている紙を汚してしまうと１発アウトです。多くのPC作業者を絶叫させているであろうコーヒー紅茶は勿論のこと、作業中にカップ麺を食べたらスープがはねて染みになったり、出先で書こうと鞄に入れていたら曲がっていたり（分厚いイラストボードだったのに！）。多彩な理由（大半は自分のミス）で何枚ダメにしたことか。

　それまでの作業が無に帰すというのは悲しいものです。そういうときに限って改心の構図だったりすると、もうね。

　しかし前述のジンクスの通り、次に描く絵は成功します。明らかに失敗した絵が到達したであろうクオリティを凌駕します。

　理由としては「気分を変えよう」と思って失敗した者とは違うジャンルの絵を描くので、上手くいったように見える……だけかもしれませんが、とにかく質のいい作品が出来ます。

　現在展示会に向けて３部作を制作していまして、最初にセンターを描き下書き段階でダメにしました。気分を変えようとサイドの絵を描き始めたのですが、ばんばんアイデアが出てきてめっちゃカッコいい絵に仕上がりそうです。

　しかもそれを描いている間にセンターのアイデアも浮かんできます。「最初はこういう衣装で描いたけど、ここをこうした方がカッコいいな」とか「あの小道具を加えたらもっとヤバげなムードが出そうだな」とか。クオリティが上がる気配しかしません。

　やりたいことが増えるとやる気もわいてくるので、今まで「時間あるからいいや」となかなか手をつけていなかったのに「もっと描きたい！！！」状態です。

　いいことしかありません。

　そういえば昨年末の展示会も、１枚目ダメにしているんですよね。んで、全然違う絵を描いて大成功でした。

　今年は「全然違う」絵ではありませんが、上手くいくと信じています。

　展示会に向けて制作していた、完成には程遠いけれどしっかり下書きした絵がダメになりました……。
　もっと素敵な作品になると信じて、また描きます！
