どうも、吾輩です。
今回は仮面ライダーの話をします。
仮面ライダーは好きですが、実を言うとリアタイではほとんど見ていませんでした。幼児期がちょうど、ライダー空白期にかぶっていたのです。戦隊ものは、トラウマ回を境に見るのをやめました。
しかし幼稚園児のころ、テレビ番組以外の媒体で仮面ライダーを与えられていたのです。
まずカセットテープ。ウルトラマン、仮面ライダーの主題歌です。なぜかオーケストラ仕様だった記憶あり。ウルトラマンの方はすぐにテープがはみ出してダメになってしまったのですが、仮面ライダーは高校生くらいまで聞いていました。おかげさまで初代からRXまでの主題歌が、へたくそなりに歌えます。
次に漫画。幼稚園のバザーで買ってきたと母から聞いた気がします。これが「仮面ライダーSD マイティライダーズ」。２．５等親くらいのかわいいライダーたちがでてくるアホギャグ漫画です。生まれて初めて読んだ漫画だったのではないかな……。
この漫画の刷り込みは激しく、今でも「RXはアホ」「地獄大使もアホ」「シャドームーンもアホ」「アポロガイストは律儀」「ライダーマンは気弱」という前提でかかってしまいます。加えてRXより前のライダーたちを心の中で「V３先輩」「アマゾン先輩」と先輩つけて呼んでしまいます。最近SPIRITSも読始めたけれど、ぬぐいきれない……！
完全版もあると知って是非読みたいのですが、プレミアがついているだと……！？
とにかく思い出の漫画です。カセットだけだったらここまでライダーに思い入れは生まれなかったでしょうし。
そして、ムック（っていうんでしょうか）。仮面ライダーJでした。マニアック！
怪人の造形が怖かったりするんですが、そんなの他のライダーや特撮物も同じだし、吾輩はこわいはなしが好きな子供だったので、そういうのも好きだろうと思って与えられたのでしょう。ほかがカセットと漫画でしたから、唯一の実写ライダーでした。
そんなこんなで仮面ライダー色の幼児期を過ごした吾輩は「仮面ライダー本編はよくわからないけれど仮面ライダーは好き」というよくわからない人になってしまいました。
本家（？）は龍騎、５５５を飛び飛びに見たくらいです。
そんな吾輩が、軍服と眼帯を目当てに初代を視聴することになろうとは……。
多忙につき、お目当ての幹部が退場したくらいで止まってしまっていますが、早く続きが見たいです。
